Flat Iron With Alfredo Cilantro Harissa
For the most flavor, marinate steak for at least two hours before cooking - Add salt and pepper to both sides of the steak and 1/2 tbs of Cilantro Harissa, marinate in the refrigerator.
Ingredients:
Pasta Noodles of your choice (Linguini, Spaghetti, Fettuccine)
1 cup Heavy Cream
2 spoons Butter
2 tbs Vegetable Oil
2 Garlic Cloves (finely chopped)
2 oz Parmesan Cheese
1 1/2 tbs Cilantro Harissa
1 White Onion
Flat Iron Steak
Salt & Pepper
Method:
Cook pasta, drain and reserve
In a large skillet, over medium-high heat add oil and garlic (finely chopped) and cook for 30 seconds
Add in onions, butter and heavy cream
Stir consistently to avoid burning, until mixture comes to a boil
Turn heat down to medium and mix in parmesan cheese and 1 tbs of Cilantro Harissa
Remove the pan from head and mix in the cooked pasta until the sauce begins to thicken
Head a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat
Once skillet is hot, fry the steak for 3-5 minutes on each side or to your desired degree of doneness
Allow them to rest for about 5 minutes before serving
Slice steak and plate with the pasta!
